Today I found a new thing about the iphone services and I wanted to share it with you. As you know that the way of sending the messages whether SMS or MMS in iPhone are from a single location the (messages) and the the iPhone its self determines whether the message is to be sent as SMS text or as MMS (if there is an image in the message). But it is very hard to know how to configure our mms setup to make it able to send and receive mms . Well I JUST found out about that and here is the way :
Go to Setting ---- general-----NETWORK----- CELLULAR DATA NETWORK ;look below "mms" and put your service provider SETTING , here are the one for the STC ( Saudi Telecom) FOR other service providers you might find the setup infos at this link.
STC SETTINGS:
There are several setting , all are working but if you had any problem may because the connection is temporary not available so try another time within 2 minutes. I f after 2 minutes it did not work change the setting to the next one
setting 1
Then reboot your iPhone by holding the power button until the red arrow appears then ,slide it to power off,.
AFTER that ,turn on your iPhone and go to Setups>>>messages>>>Show subject Field , make it ON
Now Go to messages, it will ask you to put your mobile number , do that . Subsequently , When writing a new message you will find that now the message box has split into two halves .

- in MMSC write mms.net.sa:8002
- MMS Proxy write 10.1.1.1:8080
- APN mms.net.sa
- MMSCmms.net.sa:8080
- PROXY 10.1.1.1:8080

The first half, is the Subject ....The second half is the message. Now if you want to send a text message .... Just type what you want in the second half mainly .... you can Leave the first half empty. When sending an mms you can write in the first half for example ; message,in the second half write your full message and click on the camera logo to add an existing image or to take a new one then add it.
That's and enjoy the service.
PLEASE comment below to tell me if it worked with you as it worked with mine .
