For a while now I'M RECIEVING QUETIONS about the Saudi board exam questions ,so i decided to write about that.

There are 3 types of written exams in INTERNAL MEDICINE Saudi board, the promotion, part one and part two exam. Then there is the clinical exam.

The promotion written exam is the exam that the residents in the board need to take it each year, while part one exam is needed to be taken in the first two years. Part two exam should be done after finishing the 4 year board training

These exam consist of 100 questions in form of multiple choice questions . Usually the aim to choose best answer of five choices.


The questions usually similar to questions from Harrison's Principles of Internal Medicine MCQS , Cecil Textbook of medicine Medicine MCQS AND the MKSAP review questions , with images from French's Differential Diagnosis Book, Forbes & Jackson's Color Atlas & Text Of Clinical Medicine with some electrocardiography images from Marriotts Practical Electrocardiography.



I HIGHLY recommend the above sources to any resident planning to join pr preparing for the exams of Saudi board of Internal Medicine.
